The problem: A group running 20+ childcare centres across four regions had no single, real-time view of how each centre was performing. Occupancy, staffing, wages-to-revenue and government funding lived in separate systems and spreadsheets, pulled together by hand every week. By the time head office saw the numbers, they were slow to produce, easy to get wrong, and already out of date.
What we built: We built a centralised dashboard that automatically pulls each centre's data from their existing childcare system every week, calculates the key metrics, including NZ Ministry of Education ECE funding, and shows them in one comparable view across every centre and region.
